A Little Natural Fun
Brookgreen Gardens has a brand new exhibit sure to capture the hearts of those who love companion animals. "Pooches and Purebreds: Canine Images in Sculptures" and "Figurative Felines" will be the main attraction in the gardens from now until March 9. The Archer and Anna Hyuatt Huntington sculpture garden offers over 550 works of art, including a Gullah and West African display. If you feel like taking a little walk through history while you're there, try the self-guided tour, The Oaks Plantation History and Nature Trail, which is open daily from 10:30 am to 3 pm. Tickets and garden information is available at brookgreen.org. (1-29-08)
