Author Visits Myrtle Beach Area

For the bibliophiles out there, on September 13, best-selling author Sena Jeter Naslund will be guest speaker at the Conway Library. Naslund is probably best known for her book, “Ahab’s Wife,” but has penned many other novels, including “Four Spirits,” “Sherlock in Love,” “Abundance” and “Disobedience of Water.” Aside from winning numerous fiction awards, Naslund is currently the Louisville Kentucky Poet Laureate. Copies of her books will be available at the event, which begins at 7 pm. Partial proceeds will benefit Friends of the Conway Library. While the program is Free, seating will be limited, so contact Conway Library at (843) 915-READ (7323) to register ahead.
