Medieval Times

Times to Remember The 20th century started the myth that medieval diners were a messy, etiquette-free, group. In fact, etiquette ruled in the 11th century in order to keep the peace during dinner; otherwise, the diners would brawl with one another over issues that they brought to the table. So, come to the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament to dine with "royalty" where you will have many courses of an abundant meal. Rules? A few. Though 11th century dinner forks had 2 prongs, here you will have no utensils (you have washing cloths, though). In medieval days, plates were called "trenchers" and made of sliced bread; in this 21st century show, you will have something more substantial, but feel free to use your bread, in the style of the Middle Ages, as a hot pad and napkin. Good eating, good adventure at the Medieval Times show.
