Memorial Day is every day. Each flag that we see on Memorial Day represents a memory of a life broken or lost. Let us show respect by honoring those past and present whose sacrifices have been so high on behalf of democracy and freedom. Let us slow down this weekend, especially at 3 pm, and reflect on their contributions and our own.
