Murrells Inlet: Fishing Village or Fun Spot?
Murrells Inlet lies south of Myrtle Beach by only a few miles along Highway 17. While easy to miss if driving by, its rich culture, warm-hearted inhabitants, and artistic gifts to the rest of the world make it worth the stop. Goat Island and Huntington Beach State Park are there, too, but if you only want to hang out with the locals eating seafood and talking about anything, hey, that works, too!
