Winter Interests in Our Area: Wooden Boats
Classic wooden boats are still very much in demand, for viewing and for boating adventures. Owners of wooden boats enjoy restoring and maintaining their vessel, sometimes to the point of passion. Annual events for wooden boats include an October show in Georgetown with boats for all interests. Also, in 2010 look for the Grand Strand boat show in January, and the Beaufort, NC, and the Charleston, SC, boat shows in the spring of 2010.
