Hard Rock Park Comes to Myrtle Beach

The newest Myrtle Beach attraction in 2008 will be The Hard Rock Theme Park. The park's construction is already underway on the grounds of the Waccamaw Pottery Outlet, visible as you enter Myrtle Beach just before the Intracoastal Waterway off Highway 501.

Hard Rock already has a presence in Myrtle Beach with the Hard Rock Cafe located at Broadway at the Beach. The addition of the theme park will create another venue for Myrtle Beach family vacation participants looking for a day away from their oceanfront condo. The park will contain many restaurants, rides and a theatre for concerts. The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour Bus is driving around the country promoting the park and was recently in Columbia, South Carolina for a state hospitality association function.
