Myrtle Beach Activities
If you're coming on a Myrtle Beach vacation over the next few days, some noteworthy activities are taking place that may be the best year's entertainement:
Friday, Oct. 26-Oct. 31: A private home in on 44th Avenue North in Carolina Ridge has a spooky "House of Horror" with intense graphic scenes. Not recommended for young children. Call 843.449.3669 for information and directions. Free admission.
Saturday, Oct. 27: A very cool, walk-thru Halloween attraction on 1012 Hermosa Court in Myrtle Beach. Featuring special effects and live actors and a Graveyard Tour, this local event will be taking donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina. www.myrtlebeachhauntedhouse.com.
Wednesday, Oct. 31: 2001 Nightclub in North Myrtle Beach is throwing a Heaven or Hell Halloween Party for those 21 years and older. The party begins at 8 pm, and no cover will be charged if you wear a costume. Visit www.2001nightclub.com for more details.
From Nov.1-5: The Vietnam Moving Wall will be on display at Broadway @ the Beach. The 252-foot long wall contains more than 58,000 names of Veterans who served for our freedom.
