Local Myrtle Beach Airline to Expand Destinations
Myrtle Beach Direct Air will increase flights and expand its destinations over the next few months, according to reports. Currently, the local carrier flies only from Myrtle Beach International Airport into Pittsburgh, Newark and Niagra Falls. Beginning December 20, additional flights will be scheduled to include the St. Petersburg/Clearwater airport with a connecting flight on to Gulfport, Mississippi. Sometime in March 2008, service will also include Columbus, Ohio. The company will be offering special promotions from November 1-16, with fares starting as low as $79. Catering to travelers coming down to play their Myrtle Beach golf packages and locals heading up North for vacations and business, Myrtle Beach Direct Air has been a much-appreciated addition to the local travel industry.
