GUEST COMMENTS

Here's what our guests are saying about us...

__________

This was the first trip to Myrtle Beach that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was located right at all the places we like to go to. Having an oceanfront room was fantastic and the view of the beach to wake up and look at was breathtaking. The outside pool was refreshing and the bar and grill was nice to have for lunch. All the guests seemed to be enjoying their stay also. Parking very close to our 3rd floor room was definitely a plus. We are already planning a trip back this fall. Spent 3 nights at Grande Shores - June 8, 9, 10, '06. I was very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the property and work ethic shown by hotel staff. Location is excellent - food in the restaurant (baby back ribs) was definitely above average - parking garage is a plus - we had no problems whatsoever during our stay. Our family spent Easter week at the Grande Shores. We always stay at this end of Myrtle Beach but never at this resort. I have to say it was very clean. Our room sparkled every day. We stayed in the condos and found them to be very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job with not only our room but all guest areas. The bathrooms near the pool were cleaned throughout the day so you always used a clean bathroom no overflowing trash at all. Every employee was friendly and social and you are always greeted with a smile. Pool chairs were few, however, by mid week a delivery of new chairs arrived. So those people who encountered problems in the past with lack of chairs will find the problem has been resolved. The outside bar and grill staff did an amazing job. The food was so reasonable and delicious. (grilled cheese meal $2.75 burger meal $4.75) The outdoor pool water is conditioned so you don't have to worry about dry skin or hair, always soft. A nice perk for a hot day of all day swimming that we never had but will now always want. The outdoor grounds were free from any debris and staff worked all day to keep everything looking beautiful. You are always hesitant about trying a new resort, but in this case if you are looking for a clean, family friendly, safe environment close to everything this would be your best choice.
