Worth the Trip

While you’re here at the Grande Shores on your Myrtle Beach vacation, why not take a little drive down to Pawley’s Island? Not only is the small town truly dripping with charm, Southern culture, fantastic restaurants, and, of course, hammock shops, there’s a music festival going on soon that will double the pleasure of the experience. From September 14 through October 6, the Charleston Symphony, College of Charleston Concert Choir, blues, jazz, pop and beach bands, and gifted pianists will all be playing sometime during the event. The 17th Annual Pawley’s Island Festival of Music and Art will be held on the glorious grounds of Brookgreen Gardens (if you’ve never been, it alone is worth the quick drive down).  A massive effort has been put into planning this show…and we’re sure that the results will speak for themselves.
