The Grande Shores Ocean Resort was bursting with red, white, and blue spirit as guests celebrated Independence Day in true beachside style! The oceanfront lawn came alive with the sounds of our live DJ, who kept the crowd dancing and spirits high throughout the afternoon. Families and friends gathered under the sun, waving flags and soaking in the patriotic atmosphere as the thrilling Salute from the Shore military flyover soared above the coastline, creating an unforgettable moment of pride and awe.
Guests of all ages joined in on festive activities like cornhole, a water balloon toss, a fun fork firework craft for the little ones, and the crowd-favorite watermelon eating contest that had everyone cheering. The celebration wrapped up with a mouthwatering 4th of July buffet featuring all the classic holiday fixings—from juicy burgers and hot dogs to sweet summer desserts. It was a day full of laughter, togetherness, and star-spangled memories the guests won’t soon forget.

Children staying at Grande Shores Ocean Resort have an absolute blast joining Jennifer for our exciting lineup of kids' activities this summer! With building creative masterpieces in our Sandcastle Contest and setting off on a solo scavenger hunt that led them all around the resort, every day brought a new adventure. Little ones let their imaginations run wild, proudly showing off their sandy creations and racing to be the first to complete each clue. The fun continued with beach-inspired crafts—including a special handprint project decorated with colorful seashells the kids discovered along the shore, turning their tiny beach treasures into keepsakes to take home. With sunshine overhead, laughter in the air, and plenty of giggles along the way, these summer weeks have fun filled with creativity, connection, and unforgettable summer memories for our youngest guests.

The Grande Shores Ocean Breeze Pool Bar is currently undergoing an exciting renovation to bring you an even better and more refreshing experience by the water. We can’t wait to unveil the upgraded space—just in time for future sunny-day sips and poolside relaxation. In the meantime, we invite you to keep the good vibes flowing at the Flip Flop Bar, located just steps away in the breezeway.

Powerhouse Bulldogs Hit the Beach!
We were thrilled to welcome back the Powerhouse Bulldogs Baseball Team to Grande Shores Ocean Resort for the second year in a row during their Myrtle Beach tournament! It was an honor to host such a spirited and hardworking group once again, and we loved seeing the team make the most of their time at the beach. One of the highlights of their stay was an unforgettable evening on the oceanfront lawn, where they enjoyed our lively Hula Fire Show.With festive leis around their necks and special snack bags in hand, the players and their families kicked back and took in the dazzling display of fire dancing and island-inspired entertainment. Laughter, cheers, and team camaraderie filled the air, making it a fun-filled night to remember and a perfect way to celebrate their tournament week in true coastal style. We can’t wait to cheer them on again next year!
